bSpace Quickstart: In this workshop you will learn the basic steps to create a new bSpace site.
Due to the short duration of this workshop, we do not cover all of bSpace's features.
If you with to learn more about bSpace, please register for one of our other workshops.
bSpace: Using Content & Communication Tools: Learn how to add content to your bSpace sites and communicate with your students using the Resources, Web Content, News, Announcements, Mail, and Email Archive tools. In this workshop you will learn how to:

  • Setup the Email Archive

Teaching with bSpace: Learn from the experience of your peers in this workshop focused on pedagogy.  Discuss ways in which instructors at UC Berkeley are using bSpace to support teaching and learning in their courses.  
bSpace: Integrating Multimedia: Learn new ways to incorporate web pages, audio, images, & video into your bSpace sites.
  • Upload Web Pages to your bSpace Sites
  • Create Web Pages in bSpace
  • Link to Multimedia files from Resources
  • Embed Multimedia from web sites like Flickr, YouTube, and Slideshare
  
bSpace: Assignments, Quizzes & Grading: Learn how to use the Quiz & Survey, Assignments, and Gradebook tools through demonstration, discussion, and hands-on activities .
